Jewelry laser welding is provided by Fred Kohl. His services include repair of colored stone rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets. He also provides 2 day turn around on eyeglass repair.

A number of different types of appraisals including but not limited to insurance, fair market value, hypothetical and estate are available.

To prevent strand breakage, it's a good idea to have your pearls restrung periodically -- perhaps once a year or so if you wear them often. Knotting the strand between each pearl will prevent all of the pearls from falling off the strand in the event the strand breaks. Also, knotting prevents the pearls from rubbing against one another and causing damage. A little bit of care can go a long way toward ensuring that your pearls remain safe and bright for years to come

Aline Gasner

Aline has been involved in the jewelry business since 1986 "working on the bench" as she puts it. Aline's skills are well rounded and she can create and repair almost any piece of jewelry in the traditional soldering technique.

Bill Lacert

The appraiser, Bill Lacert is a GIA graduate gemologist, certified gemologist appraiser and senior member of the NAJA.

Ed Johnson

Ed is the resident watchmaker and has been in this field over 35 years. Ed can repair almost any watch and has numerous credentials and experience with high end watches like Rolex and Tag Hauer as well as Seiko, Bulova and many others.

Fred Kohl

Fred has been in the jewelry field since 1985 and has over four years experience in Starweld Lasers. He has had advanced laser training and over 750,000 pulses fired from his laser.

Cathy Hempstead

Cathy has been with Weiss Jewelers since 2001 and is a GIA Certified Pearl Stringer since 2003.
